Chef Asai Masashi

Growing up in the Hyōgo Prefecture, Chef Asai learnt from a young age to appreciate the pristine products from the land and sea that came from this region. Inspired by some of the worlds’ best produce, Asai-san moved to Osaka and attended the famed Abeno Tsuji Culinary Institute where he delved deeper into the culinary world. Spending the next thirteen years between Hyōgo, Osaka and Kyoto, Chef Asai refined his skills before relocating to Singapore in 2002 and opening Bincho at Hua Bee in 2013.
